Leaving A Legacy

I want to leave a legacy. I want to be known for helping people. That is my great desire. I love to help people. And the internet is a great way for me to do that. I can reach so many more people using the internet than I can without it. I can even reach people across the sea! Without ever having to leave my home. That’s what I love about the internet. It’s a great tool to help me do the things I need to get done.

Since I want to leave a legacy of helping others I have started my own success coaching business. I have spent hours pouring over all sorts of success content over the years. I know what’s out there and I know that most of the people looking for success don’t have the money to spend on the courses.

So, I’m here to fill in the gap. I have nothing against those people who are charging large amounts of money for their expertise. I’m just looking at things and realizing that there’s an unmet need in the lower income population. Just because they don’t have hundreds of dollars to spend up front shouldn’t prevent them from receiving success. So, I decided that it’s time that someone offered them what they’ve been looking for. An affordable plan with a built in system to earn money. That’s what they really want. And someone needs to give it to them. So, I created the Success Coaching section of Muldrow Gal. From there, people can sign up and start receiving the information they need to make a change.

I have no doubt that I can help others become a success. Most have already joined some sort of home based business that they aren’t doing too well in. They don’t have any real guidance or instruction on what they can do to see things start changing. I can help with that, IF they do what they are asked. If they just read the content on the site and in the emails but don’t apply it then they won’t succeed. They will have the knowledge available to them. They just have to apply it.

So, I’m working on leaving my legacy. What about you? Are you ready to leave your legacy? What do you want it to be? I want mine to be amazing and awesome so I’m doing something about it. Will you?

Until next time…

I’m Done

How many times have you said this to yourself? I ask because I’ve said this same phrase to myself I don’t know how many times. And yet, I kept going back for more. I kept telling myself I’m done with _________. And then I’d go right back for more. Why? Because I kept telling myself I’m not a quitter, it’ll get better, just hang in there a little bit longer and things will change, etc. I would go through all the cliches there are to psych myself up to get up out of that bed one more time and do another day. Glutton for punishment? Maybe. I have years of experience doing it. I’m faithful to a fault. Old reliable. Why? Because I hate change. At least that’s what my go to has always been when explaining why I kept going back for more.

But, the thing is, I’m making changes all the time. I rearrange my office. I rearrange my closet. I rearrange my living room. I have even rearranged my kitchen cabinets more times than my husband can stand! So, if I truly hated change I wouldn’t be changing so much stuff so often. The problem isn’t that I hate change it’s that I hadn’t changed the right thing. When we’re constantly changing things it means we’re not happy and we’re not willing to change what we know we need to change in order to make us happy. We’re afraid of change. THAT’s what the real truth of the matter is.

Change scares us all. It’s the unknown behind the change. With every change there can be one of two outcomes. Either things go great or they go so far south we may lose everything. So, we just keep changing other things trying to find the happiness we crave but are afraid to chase. We keep reminding ourselves of “how good we have it” in order to avoid the change that scares us. We come up with reasons to keep from chasing our dreams. And they’re all sound reasons. They have some sort of logic behind them. Any reasonable person would agree. I mean, why would we jeopardize our livelihood? Are we insane? What could we possibly be thinking?

We’re subconsciously thinking that we could be truly happy for once in our lives. We don’t realize it on the surface because it’s in our subconscious mind. It’s a little bitty spark that’s just dying for some air so it can breathe and grow into a blazing fire in our soul. If we ignore it long enough we will kill that spark and we will have never chased our dreams. There are so few of us left who are doing what they truly want to be doing. We need to help fan that spark in others. If everyone did what made them truly happy this world would be a better place. Some people love to work in factories on assembly lines. And that’s okay. Some people love to drive delivery trucks. That’s okay too. And some people love to help others chase their dreams, whatever they may be.

This world needs people doing all sorts of different jobs. If you’re not happy in the job you have but there’s a job out there that does make you happy then go for it! You will only excel at that job. If it’s a job that you hate you’re not going to do it as well as you would if you loved it. You just don’t put the kind of effort into a job you hate as you put into a job you love. And when you do what you love, the finances will take care of themselves. Because of your excellence at what you do, your boss will reward you well and more often in order to keep you around. Chasing your dream will pay off. It may not pay off at first and there may be a period where you’ll want to give up but I promise that if you stick with it, you will eventually be rewarded.

So, take some time tonight to do some soul searching. Look at what you want in life. Write it down someplace just for you. Someplace that you can take it out periodically and look at it. It’s your fan for your spark. Use it. You don’t have to make the change overnight. You can slowly make the change. Make the time to do a little towards your dreams. If you’re having a bad day then take a break from chasing your dream. You can’t do good things when you’re in a bad state of mind. Don’t beat yourself up if you take the time off to get into a better state of mind. However, don’t go on a permanent hiatus from your dream chasing. That’s an order.

Until next time…

Be Joyful

So, you’re tired of always feeling like things aren’t going your way and like they never will? Well, it’s time to turn things around. It all starts with you. Now, I know what you’re thinking. I used to think the same thing. I have learned however that that kind of thinking is wrong. I’ve learned that what I think about I bring about. So, if I’m thinking about negative stuff I’m just inviting more negative stuff into my life. And I’m done with all that!

Now, I know that you have doubts about this. I did too. Until I unknowingly tested it out. What do I mean? I started learning about changing my mindset to change my circumstances. I was thinking positive thoughts and positive things were happening in my life. Then I had a change that was out of my control that I was not happy about. I let it consume it. For over a year. And the more I focused on it and thought negative thoughts about it the more negative things started showing up in other areas of my life.

Now, I’m changing my thoughts and focus and I’m starting to see positive things showing up in my life instead of negative things. I know, you’re skeptical of this. But I promise you that it’s what has really happened! It all starts with us. We attract that which we think about. I’m thinking about positive things and I’m being more conscious of the negative thoughts that pop up. I have started trying to turn those negative thoughts around to positive ones.

I have to give credit where credit is due. I learned about changing my mindset from Dana Wilde and The Mind Aware. Now, mind you, she focuses on people with Network Marketing businesses but it holds true for regular life too. If you apply what she teaches about the brain to everything in your life you will see a change. That’s what I love about it. It works for non-business stuff too!

I’m working on building my new business and I am positive that it will be a success. Why? Because I’m doing something that I love. When you do something that you love it’s hard to be negative about it all the time. I admit I have those negative thoughts show up but I’m aware of it now and I immediately turn it around in my head to something positive. For example: “No one bought anything today.” I turn it around to: “No one bought anything today because they’re waiting for payday to purchase what they fell in love with today. They’re just making out their shopping list for payday.” See, it wasn’t that hard to turn a negative thought into a positive one. And, I believe that they are making out their shopping list for payday.

Here’s another example from earlier tonight. I was in a store shopping with my husband. He wandered off like he usually does. I think he’s right behind me but turn around to see he’s nowhere to be found. I had just told him that my phone was needing charged. It had already beeped at me. It made me mad and I started thinking ugly thoughts about how he was worse than a child at wandering off and not saying anything. Then I realized how my happy mood was quickly changing. I didn’t like how I was feeling. I went to look at something I like and just kept an eye out for him. When I finally saw him wandering around I went up to him and instead of ¬†griping just came up with a smile on my face. So, instead of starting a fight I chose to be happy that we were back together. He happily asked if I was ready. He didn’t gripe that I didn’t stay with him where he went (which is usually what happens when this scenario plays out). So, changing how I was thinking about him actually made the evening end on a happy note instead of a sour one. He even let me listen to a webinar about Social Media on the way home while my phone charged and didn’t gripe about it once!

I am full of joy that I am finally doing something that I love. I love to be on the Internet helping people get what they want out of life. It can be anything from what they can find here on this site to what they can find at one of my other businesses, either my Gold Canyon site or on Color Monthly’s site. No matter where they go, it’s something they want to view because they’re interested in finding out more and making a purchase. I can find joy in the knowledge that I’m directing them to something that will benefit their life in some way. I’m not giving out information or links that are depressing. I’m giving out information and links that make people happy.

So, take some time today to spend just 15 minutes thinking happy thoughts. You can do anything for 15 minutes. That’s from another wonderful woman who I will talk about more in another post that can be found here. The change you want starts with you.

Until next time…
